Argentina 2.000 Pesos

Introduced on 22 May 2023 as part of the new 'Heroines and Heroes of the Nation' banknote family, the 2,000 peso note was created to address Argentina's severe inflationary pressures. Dr. Cecilia Grierson (1859-1934), the first woman to graduate in medicine in Argentina, shares the obverse with Dr. Ramón Carrillo (1906-1956), creator of Argentina's public health system. The dark-grey and pink note is printed on paper and features the caduceus in a SPARK Live OVI element shifting from green to azure blue.
