The Bangladesh 1000 Taka banknote, first introduced on 1 June 2025, represents the flagship denomination of the 'Historical & Archaeological Architecture of Bangladesh' series. The note is characterized by violet, purple, tan, and green hues. The obverse features the National Martyrs' Monument (Jatiyo Sriti Shoudho) located in Savar, a striking seven-part concrete structure commemorating freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. The design incorporates the Shapla (water lily) with leaves and buds, alongside the denomination rendered in optically variable ink. The reverse displays the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban (National Parliament building) in Dhaka, symbolizing democratic governance, alongside the Bangladesh Bank logo. This design exemplifies the post-2024 political transition, replacing the former portraiture of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with national architectural and historical monuments.

Measuring 160 mm × 70 mm, the largest denomination in the new series, the note bears the signature of Governor Mansur. Security features include a windowed security thread and a comprehensive watermark incorporating a Royal Bengal Tiger, the Bangladesh Bank logo, and the denomination '1000'. These elements collectively serve to prevent counterfeiting while emphasizing national pride in independence and democratic institutions.
