10 Taka

The Bangladesh 10 Taka banknote was released on 3 February 2026 as part of the central bank's 'Historical and Archaeological Architecture of Bangladesh' series. The note features predominant pink coloring with purple, red, and green accents. The obverse displays Baitul Mukarram (also known as 'The Holy House'), the national mosque of Bangladesh located in Dhaka, with the Shapla (water lily) featured prominently in the background. The reverse depicts imagery from the July 2024 uprising, including a stylized graffiti design drawn by students during the uprising, an outline map of Bangladesh surrounded by standing figures holding hands, and a silhouette of a youth holding the national flag. The design represents the modernized aesthetic of Bangladesh's post-2024 currency redesign.

Measuring 123 mm × 60 mm, the note bears the signature of Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Ahsan Habib Mansur. Security features include a watermark of a Royal Bengal Tiger on a pixelated background with bright electrotype bank logo and numeral '10'. A 2 mm color-shifting security thread displays '10 Taka' text when held to light and shifts from red to green upon tilting.
