50 Taka
Bangladesh · Bangladesh Bank
The 2021 commemorative 50 Taka note (P-69) was issued by Bangladesh Bank on 28 March 2021 specifically to mark the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh's independence — the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of independence on 26 March 1971 and the conclusion of the Liberation War. Unlike the parallel standard circulation note (P-56Ab), this commemorative variant carries a distinct reverse design depicting the freedom fighters who fought in the 1971 war. It bears the signature of Governor Fazle Kabir, is legal tender for all internal transactions, and was printed in a limited commemorative format.
