The 2022 edition (B148a) is an updated version of the 100-ruble note originally introduced during the 2016 denomination, maintaining the core design while refreshing its security complex and updating the date from the 2009 sample year to 2022. The obverse image of the Radziwill Castle in Nesvizh (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) was refined and the castle's name was explicitly labelled on the note. The reverse continues to feature the Vertep portable puppet theatre and traditional instruments including bow, tambourine, and violin, celebrating Belarusian folk performing arts.
