10 Dollars

The Central Bank of Belize unveiled its new family of banknotes on 23 January 2025, with the designs entering circulation on 4 August 2025. The 10-dollar note (Pick B333a, dated 1 February 2025) is printed in green on paper by De La Rue and measures 140 × 70 mm. The obverse features Order of National Hero Philip Goldson alongside the national coat of arms and a green heron, with the denomination as a see-through registration device. The reverse celebrates Belizean birdlife with a keel-billed toucan, a long-billed hermit hummingbird, and a scaly-breasted hummingbird. Security features include a holographic foil stripe bearing the denomination, a windowed security thread with demetallised elements, and a portrait watermark of Philip Goldson with electrotype '10'.
