The 200 KM note (P-71a.2) is a unified common-issue banknote for the entire territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, carrying text in both Croatian/Bosnian Latin and Serbian Cyrillic scripts, making it unique among KM denominations. The obverse bears a portrait of Ivo Andric (1892-1975), the Yugoslav novelist and Nobel Prize for Literature laureate of 1961, whose most celebrated work is the novel 'The Bridge on the Drina'. The reverse depicts the Mehmed Pasa Sokolovic Bridge in Visegrad, the very Drina crossing that inspired Andric's novel and is itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
