The 25 Dollar banknote was issued in August 1999 and remains part of the current circulating currency of the Cayman Islands. All notes have been printed by De La Rue currency note printers in England and feature advanced security measures. The banknote series includes six denominations ($1, $5, $10, $25, $50, and $100) with Queen Elizabeth II portrayed on the obverse of all notes. Each denomination incorporates a security thread, watermark, and serial numbers to prevent counterfeiting.
