Issued on 8 February 2023, this commemorative 1,000 Kc note celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Czech National Bank (1993-2023). It is based on the standard 2008-dated 1,000 Kc banknote but carries overprints on the obverse consisting of the CNB logo and a facsimile of the original 1993 CZK 1,000 stamp, with the anniversary year text '1993 / 30 / 2023' printed in blue-green colour-shifting ink. Only 200,000 notes were issued with a limit of five per person, making it a collector's item. František Palacký (1798-1876), known as the 'Father of the Nation,' was a renowned Czech historian and politician.
