Czechia 100 Korun Českých

The Czech National Bank issued this commemorative 100 Korun note on 21 January 2026, marking the centennial of the National Bank of Czechoslovakia, which began operating in 1926. The obverse features a portrait of Vilém Pospíšil, the institution's first governor, printed in dark blue intaglio, with the bank's headquarters building in Prague topped by the statue of the Genius with a lion.

The note is printed on natural-coloured paper and measures 194 × 84 mm. A distinguishing innovation is the SPARK Flow security feature applied to the denomination '100' in gold and green shades, creating a smooth colour movement when the note is tilted. Other security elements include a stepped watermark portrait, a windowed security thread, microtext with the names of the bank's representatives, and a latent image.
