The 200 kroner note belongs to Danmarks Nationalbank's Bridges and Prehistoric Artefacts series, first introduced in 2009. The year 2021 appears on the note, though it entered circulation in early 2024 as one of the first notes issued under King Frederik X. Knippelsbro, the fifth bridge on the same Copenhagen waterway site, dates from 1937 and is an iconic functionalist structure. The Langstrup belt plate on the reverse is the largest known fully preserved Early Bronze Age belt ornament, discovered in northern Zealand before 1880 and now held by the National Museum of Denmark.
