The 10-pound note issued by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2025 is a continuation of the long-running P-73 series, which has been in production across multiple signature periods since the 1990s. The obverse displays the Al-Rifa'i Mosque, a landmark of Cairo's Islamic Cairo district. The reverse features the diorite statue of Pharaoh Khafre accompanied by the falcon god Horus. The note is printed in violet, brown, red, and yellow tones on cotton paper measuring 150 × 70 mm. Security features include a solid security thread, a windowed demetallized security thread with denomination, an Eye of Horus see-through registration device, and a watermark of King Khafre with electrotype numeral 10.
