Issued on 8 August 2023, this non-circulating legal-tender note was produced by De La Rue on Safeguard polymer substrate, measuring 145 x 70 mm and limited to 950,000 pieces. The obverse displays the Fijian coat of arms, a red hibiscus with a colour-shifting optically variable ink rendition, and a holographic foil strip incorporating the Fiji Banded Iguana, Red-throated Lorikeet, corals, fish, and the RBF logo. The reverse features a stylised Chinese dragon amid white and yellow clouds, which fluoresces yellow and green under ultraviolet light, marking Fiji's deep cultural ties with its Chinese-Fijian community.
