The 200 Dalasi note is the highest denomination in the Gambian series, with the 2023 issue representing an updated signature variety of the 2019 design. The obverse displays two standing double-spurred bush fowl (Pternistis bicalcaratus) alongside a gold-to-green SPARK Orbital optically variable ink patch also shaped as a bush fowl, with the national coat of arms. The reverse depicts workers planting rice in paddy fields, reflecting the importance of rice cultivation to Gambian food security and rural employment.
