Introduced on 19 January 2023, this updated £20 note was produced by De La Rue on a paper substrate and is printed in red, blue, green, brown, orange, and yellow. Its defining new security feature is NEXUS, an 18 mm embedded magenta stripe printed with flowers and the numeral 20 exhibiting 3D motion on an east-west tilt. The note bears the signature of Chief Accountant Bethan Haines and represents the standard 2023 variant of the Guernsey £20, carrying Queen Elizabeth II's portrait with the original horizontal holographic design.
