The 10,000-franc note is the highest denomination in Guinea's current banknote family issued by the Banque Centrale de la République de Guinée. The 2022-dated version is an updated signature edition of the series first introduced in 2018, which itself modernised the earlier 2012 design. The striking rock formation on the reverse — known as the 'Dame de Mali' or Lady of Mali — is a celebrated natural monument in the Fouta Djallon highlands of Guinea. The cowrie shells and pineapples on the obverse reflect Guinea's cultural heritage and agricultural wealth.
