Guyana 2.000 Dollars

Released in 2021 to mark Guyana's 55th anniversary of independence (1966–2021), this is the country's first polymer banknote. Its introduction was originally planned for 2021 but was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Printed on CCL Secure's GUARDIAN polymer substrate, the note carries bilingual text and contemporary national symbolism.
