100.000 Rupiah

The 100,000 Rupiah banknote from the 2022 Bank Indonesia series honors Indonesia's first president Sukarno (Ir. Soekarno) and first vice president Mohammad Hatta, co-founding leaders of the Indonesian republic. The obverse displays their portraits side-by-side alongside the national coat of arms, a map of Indonesia, and moth orchid flowers. The reverse depicts three iconic elements: the Tari Topeng Betawi (a masked dance from the Betawi people of Jakarta), Raja Ampat island scenery, and moon orchid flowers (Phalaenopsis amabilis), showcasing Indonesia's cultural and natural diversity.

Measuring 151 mm × 66 mm, the note displays red as its dominant color with multicolor designs throughout. Issued on 17 August 2022, it is signed by Governor Perry Warjiyo and Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati. The 2022 series features innovative security enhancements including Rapid HD® detect micro lenses embedded in kawung batik motifs and the Bank Indonesia logo, plus OVMI Spark® technology with dynamic motion effects in the orchid flower designs.

Security features include a windowed security thread with demetallized "BI 100000" text, watermark of Wage Rudolf Soepratman and electrotype logo, bank logo registration device, and comprehensive ultraviolet and phosphorescent technology across all denominations.
