The 50,000 dinar note is Iraq's highest circulating denomination, printed on a cotton-polymer hybrid substrate. The obverse portrays a water wheel on the Euphrates, an Assyrian jar, a palm tree, and the Geli Ali Beg Waterfall in Iraqi Kurdistan, while the reverse shows fishermen in a reed house, bovines and ducks, and the iconic spiral minaret of the Great Mosque of Samarra. The 2023 date corresponds to AH 1445 in the Islamic calendar and the note bears the signature of Central Bank Governor Ali Mohsen Ismail Al-Alaq.
