Issued in November 2017 as part of the Bank of Israel's Third Series (Series C), the 20 new shekel note dedicates its design to Rachel Bluwstein (1890–1931), considered one of the foremost Hebrew lyric poets. The series, the first Israeli series to feature women on all denominations, replaced the prior Moshe Sharett note. The 2021 date appears on production runs within the ongoing Third Series, with unchanged design. The note measures 129 x 71 mm and is dominated by red tones.
