The 20 Dinar note, released on 21 March 2023 with a 2022 (AH 1443) date, is the third denomination introduced in Jordan's fifth currency series. King Hussein Ibn Talal (1935–1999), who ruled Jordan for 46 years, is depicted alongside the mosque built by his son and successor King Abdullah II in 2005 in his memory, located in Amman. The reverse features the Wadi Mujib, the biblical Arnon River, a dramatic canyon flowing into the Dead Sea that is home to Jordan's first nature reserve and a UNESCO-recognized biodiversity corridor. The note measures 145 x 74 mm and is printed in green tones.
