The 10,000 tenge commemorative note was released on 15 November 2023 in a limited edition of 3,000,000 pieces to celebrate three decades of the tenge as Kazakhstan's national currency. The vertical-format obverse displays the national emblem, a Mobius strip representing the infinite nature of time, and a map of Kazakhstan with regional boundaries rendered in traditional ornamentation, while the horizontal reverse shows an outline of the Eurasian continent and a golden tenge coin surrounded by a Mobius strip. The note is purple and blue, measures 149 x 79 mm, and carries the signature of National Bank Chairman Timur Suleimenov.
