The red 20 som note (dated 2023, circulated from 15 February 2024) is the lowest denomination in the Kyrgyz Republic's fifth series, which modernised all seven denominations with updated security features. Togolok Moldo (1860-1942), a beloved akyn, poet, and educator, appears on the obverse, while the reverse depicts the 15th-century Tash-Rabat stone caravanserai set against mountain peaks. The note is printed by Crane Currency, measures 120 x 58 mm, and bears the signature of National Bank Chairman Kubanychbek Bokontayev.
