The green 5,000 som note (dated 2023, circulated from 10 May 2024) is the capstone of the fifth series modernisation and portrays Suymenkul Chokmorov (1939-1992), one of Kyrgyzstan's most celebrated actors and visual artists, recognised across Soviet cinema for his powerful performances. The reverse features the Ala-Too cinema, an iconic Soviet-era cultural landmark in central Bishkek. The note measures 156 x 73 mm, includes a gold-to-jade colour-shifting OVI ornament, and was printed by Crane Currency to complete the full seven-denomination modernisation.
