The reverse depicts a vibrant outdoor market scene with men and women engaged in commerce, the Central Bank of Liberia seal, and traditional economic imagery reflecting Liberia's mercantile heritage. The note measures 133 x 66 mm and features a sophisticated color scheme combining brown, tan, and purple tones. Manufactured with advanced security features including a gold-to-green windowed security thread with demetalized stars that display pulsing and dynamic color-changing effects when viewed at different angles, the $20 denomination provides strong counterfeit protection.
