Banco de México continued the circulation of its G-series 200 peso banknote into July 2025 as part of regular monetary production. The note features the same design elements established in the G-series: the obverse displays portraits of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla and José María Morelos y Pavón, Mexican independence heroes, alongside the Bell of Dolores. The reverse showcases a golden eagle in flight over the El Pinacate Biosphere Reserve and Great Desert of Altar in Sonora.

This regular 2025-dated variant differs from the commemorative March 2025 issue by the absence of the "100 Aniversario 1925-2025" overprint legend. The banknote measures 139 mm by 65 mm, is printed on cotton fiber substrate with a predominant green coloration, and incorporates comprehensive security features including watermarks, color-shifting elements, and accessibility features for the visually impaired.
