This commemorative 10,000 Togrog banknote was issued on 9 July 2021 by the Bank of Mongolia to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Mongolian People's Revolution of 1921, which established the Mongolian People's Republic. The reverse image of Kharkhorin recalls the former imperial capital of the Mongol Empire, linking the modern Mongolian state to its medieval heritage. The note measures 150 x 72 mm and was issued alongside a 5,000 Togrog commemorative note in the same series.
