Issued on November 24, 2023, this redesigned 100-Dirham note showcases Morocco's cultural heritage and socio-economic development. The obverse displays a portrait of King Mohamed VI alongside arcades of the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, with architectural details of traditional Moroccan doors. The reverse depicts the Tiznit-Dakhla expressway, Place Mechourar in Laayoune, and the Feast of Moussem de Tan-Tan. Measuring 144 x 70 mm, the note was produced by Dar As-Sikkah and features advanced security including a segmented thread with shifting colors and optical variable ink.
