Introduced on July 31, 2023, this 20,000 Kyat note was issued in commemoration of the completion of the Maravijaya Buddha Image and the one-year birthday celebration of Rattha Nandaka, a white elephant calf born on July 23, 2022. The obverse features a prominent elephant, while the reverse showcases the Sagaing Bridge and Irrawaddy Bridge. Measuring 150 x 70 mm, the note incorporates a windowed security thread and a watermark featuring the head of the Yadana white elephant with electrotype denomination. Distribution was limited through exchange with older banknotes at Central Bank branches.
