10 Rupees
The Nepal 10 Rupees 2024 emission marks a continued modernization of Nepal's currency with wildlife-focused design elements. The banknote features the blackbuck (Krishnasar), a species endemic to the Indian subcontinent and symbolically important in South Asian culture. Introduced with serial numbers beginning at D/32 000001, this note maintained unchanged dimensions and color schemes from earlier versions to ensure public familiarity and ease of handling. The note includes bilingual inscriptions in both English and Nepali, dated to the Gregorian year 2024 A.D. and the Nepali year 2081 B.S. The Currency Management Department confirmed full circulation status, with production authorized to continue the incomplete distribution from the November 2020 series.
