Danske Bank's polymer 20 Pound note honors Harry Ferguson, born in County Down in 1884, renowned for developing the modern tractor and its hydraulic rear linkage system still used worldwide today. The obverse displays a portrait of Ferguson alongside a tractor motif and gold foil accents, while the reverse features the pediment of Belfast City Hall. The polymer version measures slightly smaller than earlier paper issues and includes a see-through security section, holographic foil, and a tactile feature assisting visually impaired users. A printed magnetic stripe runs vertically through the note.
