Issued on 14 August 2022 to mark 75 years of Pakistan's independence (1947–2022), the State Bank of Pakistan introduced this non-standard denomination as its first commemorative note for the diamond jubilee. Designed by Sara Khan, the emerald-green cotton-paper note measures 147 x 65 mm and bears the signature of Governor Jameel Ahmed. Originally planned for polymer substrate, it was ultimately produced on cotton paper with a print run of 100 million pieces, made available to the public from 30 September 2022.
