The Philippine 100 Piso polymer banknote, introduced in 2024 and continuing into 2025, features the Palawan peacock-pheasant (Polyplectron napoleonis) on its violet obverse, replacing the former portrait of President Manuel A. Roxas. The front also displays the Ceratocentron fesselii, an endemic and critically endangered orchid species. The reverse side continues to feature the Mayon Volcano in Bicol and the whale shark (Rhincodon typus), accompanied by Bicol Region textile design patterns.

Launched as part of the First Philippine Polymer (FPP) Banknote Series by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas on December 19, 2024, the note entered circulation on December 23, 2024. The Palawan peacock-pheasant is endemic to Palawan Island and represents the country's commitment to showcasing and protecting its unique endemic avifauna and plant species through currency design.
