The 500 Piso New Generation Currency note commemorates the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution, depicting former President Corazon C. Aquino and Senator Benigno Aquino Jr. alongside a crowd scene on the obverse. The reverse features the blue-naped parrot (Tanygnathus lucionensis) and the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 2021 printing bears the signatures of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and BSP Governor Benjamin Diokno and measures 160 x 66 mm.
