This commemorative 20 złotych note honors the millennium of Bolesław Chrobry's coronation in 1025, marking Poland's transition to a unified Christian kingdom. The front features Bolesław Chrobry based on a 19th-century etching by Rudolf Fryderyk Friedlein. The reverse displays three panels from the Gniezno bronze doors—medieval artworks symbolizing Poland's historical and religious heritage. The note measures 170×85 mm (the largest NBP collector banknote) with burgundy, navy, and gold tones. Security features include a gold-silver ornamental stripe, crown-shaped window, watermark, and UV-visible motifs. Issued November 5, 2025, limited to 70,000 copies at 160 złotych each.
