Also introduced on 16 October 2023, this predominantly red modified 5,000 ruble banknote is dedicated to Yekaterinburg and the Ural Federal District. The obverse prominently features the Europe-Asia boundary stele in Yekaterinburg, symbolising Russia's geographical position spanning two continents. The reverse displays the Tale of the Urals monument in Chelyabinsk and the 66th Parallel Arctic Circle stele in Salekhard, reflecting the vast cultural and geographical reach of the Ural region.
