Also part of the Central Bank of Samoa's 2023 polymer conversion series printed by De La Rue on SAFEGUARD substrate, the 20 Tala note highlights Samoa's natural heritage. The obverse depicts the cascading Sinaloa waterfall on Savai'i island, which drops 220 metres, making it one of the most dramatic natural features in the Pacific. The reverse showcases the manumea (tooth-billed pigeon), Samoa's national bird, alongside the teuila, the national flower. Ten tactile embossed dots assist visually impaired users.
