200 Riyals

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) issued the 200 Riyals commemorative banknote on 25 April 2021 to mark the fifth anniversary of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 initiative, launched in 2016. The front features a portrait of King Abdulaziz ibn Abdulrahman Al Saud, the founder of the modern Saudi state, alongside the distinctive 3D logo of Saudi Vision 2030 in a prominent position. The banknote is printed predominantly in gray tones with accents in other colors, presenting a modern aesthetic while maintaining the traditional elements of Saudi currency design.

The reverse side displays additional security and design elements, including a watermark and foil strip bearing the emblem of Saudi Arabia and the banknote value. The 200 Riyals denomination represents a major note within the sixth issue of Saudi Arabian banknotes, and its design incorporates the latest standards in banknote printing technology. The note carries the name and logo of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), the denomination in both Arabic letters and numbers, and all design elements are executed to the highest security standards.

This commemorative issue reflects Saudi Arabia's commitment to modernization and long-term development goals through Vision 2030, while celebrating the foundational leadership of King Abdulaziz and the nation's historical continuity.
