The CBSI released this red polymer note on 27 October 2023, with one million notes printed by De La Rue on Safeguard polymer substrate, making it the first polymer note in the Solomon Islands' general currency history. The obverse displays a large Solomon Islands flag, the coat of arms, the inscription '2023 Pacific Games', and a see-through window showing an eagle head and the Pacific Games logo of three paddles. The reverse showcases athletes participating in weightlifting, football, bodybuilding, basketball, and rugby, celebrating the sporting spirit and the Solomon Islands' role as host nation.
