The obverse of the 100 pounds note features the Roman Theater at Bosra, one of Syria's most important ancient Roman sites, alongside the archway of the Bosra gate. The reverse depicts the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, the Central Bank of Syria headquarters building, and a coin. The 2021-dated note (Islamic calendar 1442 AH) is a continuation of the same design series introduced in 2009, bearing the signatures of Kenan Yaghi and Hazem Younes Karfoul and printed by Goznak.
