The obverse of this note displays cuneiform clay tablets from Ebla and the Ugarit alphabet, celebrating Syria's role as a cradle of early writing. The reverse depicts the Al-Assad National Library in Damascus alongside a statue of former President Hafez al-Assad. The note was introduced into circulation on 24 January 2021 as a reprinting of the existing series design, maintaining continuity with previous issues while updating the date.
