Tonga 10 Pa'anga

Introduced on 4 December 2023 alongside the 5 Pa'anga as one of Tonga's inaugural polymer notes, the blue 10 Pa'anga (150 x 70 mm) highlights Tongan royal culture through its reverse design depicting HRH Princess Angelika Latufuipeka Tuku'aho performing the Milolua, a traditional kava ceremony central to Tongan ceremonial and social life. The polymer substrate provides enhanced durability for this mid-circulation denomination, and like the 5 Pa'anga it carries a transparent window security feature unique to polymer notes.
