Launched on 4 December 2023, the brown 20 Pa'anga (150 x 70 mm) is printed on paper and represents the institutional heart of Tonga's financial system through its reverse image of the National Reserve Bank of Tonga headquarters in Nuku'alofa. The obverse incorporates the Tokelau Feletoa kupesi pattern, the coat of arms, and the Royal Medal alongside the King's portrait. Its key distinguishing security feature is a PUREIMAGE holographic thread.
