On August 15, 2024, the Transnistrian Republican Bank introduced a commemorative 1 Rubl banknote marking the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the Transnistrian Ruble, which was first established in 1994 following the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The commemorative design is based on the standard circulation banknote but includes distinctive features to commemorate this milestone. The obverse portrays General Alexander Suvorov, a prominent Russian military commander and historical figure significant to the region.

The reverse displays the Kitskansky Bridgehead memorial complex, a monument of historical importance in Transnistria honoring those who defended the bridgehead during World War II. The banknote is colored in brown, green, orange, blue, and red, consistent with the standard Transnistrian color palette. A total of 1,500 notes were produced for this commemorative release, making it a limited edition collector's item.

Transnistria, officially the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, is an unrecognized breakaway state located between Moldova and Ukraine. Its currency, the Transnistrian ruble, operates independently of the Moldovan leu and is used exclusively within its territory. The 30th anniversary commemorative note reflects the territory's ongoing effort to assert its distinct identity and monetary sovereignty.
