The 20 Dinars banknote from Tunisia's Banque Centrale de Tunisie was reissued in July 2025 with new signatures (Abdessalem/Nouri) and official date 25.07.2025. The front displays the portrait of Farhat Hached, a prominent Tunisian nationalist leader and labor activist, centered with Arabic inscription and red color scheme with gold denomination marking.
The reverse features an aerial view and detailed close-up of the Roman amphitheater of El Jem, one of the most significant archaeological monuments in Tunisia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A Corinthian column is also depicted alongside French text.
The security features include a windowed security thread and watermark of Farhat Hached. The note represents Tunisia's commitment to honoring historical figures while celebrating its rich architectural and cultural heritage.
