Ukraine 50 Hriven'

The obverse displays a portrait of Mykhailo Hrushevsky, first president of the Ukrainian People's Republic, and the reverse depicts the Ukrainian Central Rada (House of the Teacher) building in Kyiv. The 2021 issue is an updated new-generation banknote, replacing the 2004 series design with improved security features. Printed on tinted magenta security paper, it retains the dominant color and main imagery of the previous issue while adding pronounced embossed tactile elements and advanced security features. The note measures 72 x 136 mm.
