The 10 Bolivares Digitales (P-116, dated April 29, 2021) is a key denomination of Venezuela's 2021 Bolivar Digital series, part of the Nueva Expresion Monetaria that removed six zeros from the Bolivar Soberano effective October 1, 2021. The vertically-oriented obverse features national liberator Simon Bolivar in a purple color scheme, while the reverse depicts the Venezuelan Coat of Arms, the Monument to the Motherland on Carabobo Fields, and the Battle of Carabobo. Measuring 156 x 69 mm, the note shares thematic design elements with the 5-bolivar digital note but is distinguished by its purple hue. The 10-bolivar denomination was one of the first to circulate following the introduction of the new currency on October 1, 2021.
