The aqua-colored 10 Kwacha note (145 x 70 mm) is part of the Bank of Zambia's current circulation series, reissued with upgraded security in 2022. The musuku (Uapaca kirkiana) tree on the obverse is a fruit-bearing indigenous species highly valued in Zambian communities. The porcupine on the reverse — Zambia's most widely recognized small mammal — appears alongside rice-harvesting imagery that underscores the country's agricultural economy. The 2022 reprint carries the signature of Governor Dr. Denny H. Kalyalya.
