10 ZiG (Zimbabwe Gold)

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe introduced the 10 ZiG note on 7 April 2026 as part of the upgraded 'Big 5' series of the gold-backed ZiG (Zimbabwe Gold) currency, introduced in April 2024. The note prominently features the Cape buffalo as its primary animal motif, together with the bank's emblem of the Chiremba balancing rocks. The design incorporates intaglio printing and modern security features including a magnetic security thread and color-shifting elements.
